Annual Colorado ASTA Certificate
Advancement Program
(formerly Certificate Program for Strings)
This is an opportunity for studio violin, viola, 'cello and bass students to
perform for highly qualified evaluators, receiving comments, mini-lessons and a level appropriate
certificate.
- 11 levels of
graded curriculum defined by a set of technical and musical goals
- Students will play memorized scale(s), an etude, memorized piece(s) and
sight read
- Students are evaluated on tone, intonation, posture, left hand
technique, right hand technique, rhythm, musicality,
memorization and stage presence
- Very positive comments and suggestions
- Open to all string students of active ASTA MEMBERS
