Fifth Annual Colorado ASTA Certificate
Advancement Program 
(formerly Certificate Program for Strings)


 
  This is an opportunity for studio violin, viola, 'cello and bass students to perform for highly qualified evaluators, receiving comments, mini-lessons and a level appropriate certificate. 

-  11 levels of graded curriculum defined by a set of technical and musical goals

-  Students will play memorized scale(s), an etude, memorized piece(s) and sight read

-  Students are evaluated on tone, intonation, posture, left hand technique, right hand    technique, rhythm, musicality, memorization and stage presence

-  Very positive comments and suggestions

-  Open to all string students of active ASTA MEMBERS

Denver Area date is Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Denver School of the Arts  
Application deadline is January 24, 2012 for DSA

 Northern Area date is Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Colorado State University Center for the Arts
Application deadline is April 2, 2012 for CSU
