CASTA, Inc. Lifetime Service Award Criteria
The timeframe for nominations for this award is October 1 to December 1. The award will be presented at the Colorado All State Orchestra Concert. Applications must be submitted to the CASTA Southern Representative by December 1.
Required:
1. All nominees must be a registered CASTA member during the time of consideration.
2. Has a minimum of 20 years of teaching experience.
3. Has demonstrated leadership in the music profession.
4. Has demonstrated advocacy for music and string education.
5. Has served as a mentor to new teachers in the profession.
Recommended, but not required
6. Has been a presenter, clinician or host at a music conference
7. Has served or is presently serving on the CASTA board or on a CASTA committee..
