Announcements

Dear music friends,

I am once again planning the Daniel Lewis play-a-thon and I would love for
you to perform with us on this awesome day.

We are meeting at Thornton High School  on Wednesday, Nov. 26 to perform a
marathon concert in Dan's honor.  It is planned that Dan will be able to
join us for at least part of the day.

We are scheduling groups in 15 minute slots starting at 10:00 am until 6
p.m. and beyond if we have more groups.

If you are interested in performing anything on this day, please contact me
so that I can get you additional information and get you scheduled to play.
We are looking for people to donate any length of music, or other artistic
performance (skits, poetry readings, etc).  You just need to be there for
your performance.  You are not required to stay all day, although you are
welcome to stay as long as you wish.  We will record the entire day for Dan.

The idea is not to make money, although we will be collecting money for the
family.  The idea is to celebrate the artistic side of Dan and the artist in
all of you.  We are looking for you to donate your talent and dedication to
the arts and to make a statement of passion and love for the arts.  We will
also have a collection for monetary donations.
Last year,  thanks to all who performed, we were able to collect $1500.00
for the family.

Please consider joining us on this day, the day before Thanksgiving.  If you
would like to perform, let me know so that I can get you on the schedule.

Sincerely,
Nancy Marble
