Alison Reifschneider

Colorado native Alison Reifschneider teaches
Orchestra, Piano, AP Music Theory and Rock and Roll History at Grandview High
School in Aurora. Alison is a graduate of CU Boulder with a Bachelor of K-12
Music Education (Strings Emphasis). She has performed with the Grand Junction
Symphony, Mesa State College Symphony, Colorado Light Opera, Longmont
Symphony, New Artists Philharmonic, CU Early Music Ensemble, and has most
recently joined the Arapahoe Philharmonic. Alison has been Head Counselor and
Class Instructor with the CASTA Middle School Strings Camp since 2001. She
has also been a teaching assistant for the Strings Department at the
Interlochen Summer Arts Camp in Michigan, served on the Strings and Conducting
faculty with the Flatirons Strings Academy Summer Camp in Boulder, and was
Orchestra Instructor at the Hummingbird Music Camp in New Mexico. Currently,
Alison is also serving as a Governor on the Colorado All-State Orchestra
Board.
