KIM WATKINS, SECRETARY, CASTA

Kim Watkins, Secretary, Colorado American String Teacher
I received my degree in Music Education from University of Northern Colorado I have Suzuki training from Denver University in violin, viola and piano. I have been teaching privately for 35 years (whew, that’s a long time) all levels, but love the beginners probably the most. I started teaching for Douglas County in 1998. I am one of those traveling teachers that visit three different feeder areas. Next year I will finally be in only ONE feeder, Highlands Ranch High School, with FOUR elementaries. I like to have fun playing for Denver Pops Orchestra and gig with various Quartets when they need a violin/viola player. I look forward to working with the Board and members as the secretary of Colorado American String Teacher.
