Dr. James Fittz, UNC Professor Emeritus of Cello, is establishing a small studio of committed cello students at his home in Denver.  Dr. Fittz’s students have gone on to the finest schools for undergraduate as well as graduate studies, including Eastman, Cleveland, New England, Indiana, and Mannes.  Those interested in being part of the studio are invited to contact him for an audition at 303-722-2780 (home) or 970-396-0420 (mobile).

The "Celebrate Strings!" concert at Mitchell High School on October 7th in Colorado Springs was wonderful!! The directors were Christie Anderson, Sherry Boyer, Daryl Counsell, Holly Strandbert & Paul Williamson. It was the Colorado Springs D-11 East Side Middle and High School Orchestras.  Andrea Meyers was the guest clinician/conductor. It was really amazing for a combined M.S/H.S. performance.... so early in the year!
